RECENT ELECTIONS
Elections of delegates to the 12th National People’s Congress were held between Oct. 2012 and Feb. 2013 by municipal, regional and provincial people’s congresses. At its annual session in March 2013 the Congress re-elected Xi Jinping as President and elected Li Yuanchao as Vice-President.
